» L’ailleurs est mon territoire de prédilection et d’inspiration, mon terrain de jeu préféré.

Né en 1967 au Maroc, Arié Botbol grandit à Nice jusqu’en 1971, puis Tel-Aviv jusqu’en 1974, avant de revenir vivre en France. Après avoir créé et développé son agence de communication pendant 15 années, il se consacre désormais exclusivement à la photographie.

Toujours en quête de son paradis perdu, celui de l’enfance innocente et curieuse… il a hérité de son pays d’origine le goût des couleurs, des saveurs et du raffinement. Même lorsqu’il braque son appareil vers des horizons plus lointains et d’autres cultures (Madagascar, Maroc, Sri Lanka, Rajasthan, Japon, Chili, Brésil …) sa « mère Méditerranée » reste toujours une intarissable source d’inspiration.

Photographe de la rue et de l’instant, il aime raconter des histoires simples, créer des atmosphères vivantes et construire des images à la composition rigoureuse. Amoureux de la couleur et des décors graphiques, il offre des images pleines d’humanité et d’intimité.

En 2017, il intègre l’agence de photographes HANS LUCAS et répond à des commandes de reportages de la presse nationale ou locale. Depuis 2018, il exerce à Nice en tant que Photoreporter et Auteur.

Born in 1967 in Morocco, Arié Botbol grew up in Nice until 1971, then in Tel Aviv until 1974, before returning to live in France. After creating and developing his own communication agency for 15 years, he now devotes himself exclusively to photography.

 Always in search of his lost paradise, that of the innocent and curious childhood… it has inherited from its country of origin the taste of colors, flavors and refinement.  Even when he turns his camera towards more distant horizons and other cultures (Madagascar, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Rajasthan, Japan, Chile, Brazil …) his « mother Mediterranean » always remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

 Photographer of the street and of the moment, he likes to tell simple stories, to create lively atmospheres and to construct images with rigorous composition. A lover of color and graphic settings, he offers images full of humanity and intimacy.

 In 2017, he joins the HANS LUCAS photographers’ agency and responds to commissions for reports from the national and local press. Since 2018, he has been working in Nice as a Photo reporter and Author.
